Are you ready to make a significant impact on a transformative project? Fletcher Construction is seeking a talented and innovative Document Controller to join our team for Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi (Te Awa Kairangi).

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join a major construction alliance, supporting the delivery of complex infrastructure. You will own the integrity, structure and performance of the project’s information systems, ensuring documentation flows accurately from design through to handover. This role suits someone who understands how construction projects run on the ground and knows the importance of getting the details right.

Lead document control and information management processes across the project lifecycle
Administer and optimise systems such as Procore and SharePoint to support project delivery
Manage drawing revisions, specifications and document workflows to ensure accuracy and traceability
Coordinate as-built documentation with engineers, designers and delivery teams
Monitor submission workflows and approvals to keep design and construction moving
Support quality assurance, audits and reporting to meet contractual and ISO requirements

What you’ll bring to the role

Proven experience in document control within construction, ideally on large or complex projects
Strong working knowledge of systems such as Procore, Aconex, ProjectWise or similar
Understanding of construction documentation, drawings, specifications and handover requirements
High level of accuracy with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Confident communicator who can work across site teams, engineers, designers and stakeholders
Relevant qualification in quality, document control or construction, or equivalent practical experience

Te Awa Kairangi Alliance is delivering transport, walking and cycling improvements to the SH2 Melling interchange and rail station, as part of a wider flood protection and city revitalisation programme. Fletcher Construction is working with Alliance partners AECOM, NZTA, Taranaki Whānui and Ngāti Toa Rangatira to deliver this transformative project.
