Description

We’re looking for a Bitumen Plant Operator to join our plant team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be manufacturing bitumen emulsion and Polybitumen for the roading industry. Previous experience as a plant operator is not required as training will be provided. 

In this role, you will:
  • Operate and monitor the bitumen plant to meet daily production targets
  • Complete pre-start checks and ensure equipment is ready for use
  • Manufacture bitumen products to required specifications and formulations
  • Assist with plant maintenance, servicing, and basic troubleshooting
  • Handle raw materials safely, including unloading and storage
  • Complete production records, sampling, and quality checks

What You’ll Bring to the Role
  • Class 1 driver licence
  • Background in manufacturing or plant maintenance would be beneficial
  • A good understanding of computer systems as our machines are a computer-based operating system
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
  • A safety-first mindset and confidence working around hazardous substances
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
