Description

We’re looking for a Bitumen Plant Operator to join our plant team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be manufacturing bitumen emulsion and Polybitumen for the roading industry. Previous experience as a plant operator is not required as training will be provided.

In this role, you will:

Operate and monitor the bitumen plant to meet daily production targets
Complete pre-start checks and ensure equipment is ready for use
Manufacture bitumen products to required specifications and formulations
Assist with plant maintenance, servicing, and basic troubleshooting
Handle raw materials safely, including unloading and storage
Complete production records, sampling, and quality checks

What You’ll Bring to the Role

Class 1 driver licence
Background in manufacturing or plant maintenance would be beneficial
A good understanding of computer systems as our machines are a computer-based operating system
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
A safety-first mindset and confidence working around hazardous substances
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
