In this role, you’ll take ownership of asset data, maintenance planning and reporting across a busy infrastructure contract. It’s a practical, hands-on role where you’ll work closely with operations, turning asset information into clear maintenance strategies and forward work programmes to optimise whole of asset life outcomes. You’ll play a key part in keeping assets performing safely and efficiently, while supporting the wider team with planning, reporting and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain asset data, condition assessments and maintenance records
  • Develop, update, and implement maintenance plans, forward works and annual programmes
  • Coordinate and/or undertake inspections and ensure service requirements are consistently met
  • Work with operations teams to prioritise and deliver maintenance activities
  • Lead asset performance reporting, including quarterly performance and KPI tracking
  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders as needed

What You’ll Bring to the Role
We’re open to different backgrounds, but you’ll bring practical experience in maintenance or asset management, along with a solid understanding of how infrastructure assets are managed day-to-day to achieve optimal whole of life outcomes.

You’ll likely have:
  • Around 5+ years’ experience in asset management or maintenance delivery
  • Experience working on infrastructure or civil maintenance contracts
  • Strong understanding of maintenance activities across assets such as pavements, drainage, signage, landscaping, markings or structures
  • Confidence using asset systems and tools such as AMDS, Juno or similar platforms
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with operational teams
  • A relevant tertiary qualification is helpful but not essential

What’s on offer:
  • Competitive remuneration package
  • KiwiSaver employer contribution matched up to 4%
  • In-house technical training and leadership development programmes
  • Career opportunities across Higgins and Fletcher Construction
  • Retail discounts for you and your family to enjoy
