Description

We have an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with strong experience in road stabilisation to join our Waikato team.

In this role, you will lead the delivery of stabilising projects across the region and nationally, overseeing multiple crews and programmes of work. You’ll play a key role in driving quality outcomes, supporting and developing your team, and building strong relationships with clients.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of stabilising projects across all stages, from planning through to completion
  • Manage multiple operations while ensuring consistent, high-quality results
  • Oversee programme, cost, quality, and risk across your portfolio
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to Project Managers and site teams
  • Manage contracts, pricing, and commercial performance, including leading negotiations where required
  • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Champion a strong health and safety culture, with a focus on prevention

What you’ll bring: 
  • Proven experience delivering road stabilisation projects within civil construction
  • Experience managing multiple stabilising crews or operations
  • Strong commercial capability, including pricing projects valued at $10M+
  • A proactive H&S mindset, with a genuine belief that every incident is preventable
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and develop teams
  • Confidence building trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders
