We're looking for a commercially astute National Pricing Manager to lead our pricing strategy and governance framework. Reporting to the Commercial Manager and based in our Tullamarine office, this is a critical leadership role responsible for maximising profitability, improving pricing discipline, and providing the insights that support sustainable growth.

About the Role

As National Pricing Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies that balance market competitiveness with margin performance. You'll lead a team of pricing specialists and work closely with Sales, Finance, Product, Supply Chain and Commercial teams to ensure pricing decisions are data-driven, consistent and aligned to business objectives.

This role will play a key part in strengthening pricing governance, improving pricing tools and processes, and identifying opportunities to enhance commercial outcomes across a large and complex product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities include:

Develop and own Laminex’s pricing strategy across multiple product categories and customer segments.
Lead and develop a high-performing pricing team, providing coaching, support and direction.
Establish and maintain pricing governance frameworks, controls and approval processes.
Monitor price performance, revenue outcomes and margin improvement through agreed KPIs.
Partner with Sales and Commercial leaders to optimise pricing structures, rebate frameworks and commercial programs.
Analyse customer, product and market data to identify opportunities to improve profitability and market position.
Develop reporting and analytical tools that provide timely pricing insights and support decision making.
Drive continuous improvement of pricing systems, processes and automation capabilities.
Support major tenders, commercial negotiations and strategic customer reviews.
Provide regular reporting and recommendations to senior leadership on pricing performance and opportunities.

About You

We are looking for a commercially minded pricing professional with strong analytical capability and a track record of influencing business decisions through data and insight.

Ideally you'll bring:

Proven experience leading pricing strategy within manufacturing, building products, FMCG, industrial or distribution environments.
Strong understanding of pricing methodologies, rebates, cost-to-serve models, margin management and commercial governance.
Experience managing large and complex product portfolios with thousands of SKUs.
Demonstrated leadership experience developing high-performing teams.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large and complex datasets.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge, influence and drive change.
Advanced Excel capability and experience with BI/reporting tools such as Qlik, Power BI or similar.
Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
