Description

Our Higgins Team is on the lookout for an Operator to join our Paving Crew in Christchurch.
This is a permanent, full-time position working a minimum of 40 hours per week. In this role, you’ll be involved in a range of paving activities and operate various plant and machinery to support the safe and efficient delivery of asphalt paving projects. 

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and is committed to delivering quality results.

What you’ll bring to the role:
  • Full Class 1 licence (Class 2 and WTR advantageous)
  • Previous experience operating plant and machinery within civil construction, roading, or asphalt paving environments
  • Experience working with paving crews is preferred
  • A safety-first attitude – for yourself, your teammates, and the public
  • Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Flexible, reliable, and committed to getting the job done
  • Passion for the civil construction industry and a willingness to learn
