About the Role
Reporting to the Planning and Reliability Leader, the Lubrication Technician position is responsible for executing lubrication and condition monitoring activities across the Toolara site, helping to maximise equipment reliability and minimise unplanned downtime. You'll work closely with maintenance and production teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and drive best-practice asset care.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Completing daily, weekly and monthly lubrication routes
  • Maintaining and repairing lubrication systems
  • Performing oil sampling, field-level oil analysis and filtration activities
  • Changing filters, breathers and maintaining reservoir levels
  • Managing lubrication stores, inventory and dispensing equipment
  • Identifying reliability improvement opportunities and proactive maintenance actions
  • Updating maintenance management systems and raising work orders
  • Supporting maintenance, planning and reliability improvement programs
  • Maintaining high standards of safety, housekeeping and environmental compliance throughout all activities. 

About You
We're looking for someone who combines strong mechanical aptitude with a passion for proactive maintenance and equipment reliability.

You will bring:
  • Experience applying best-practice lubrication techniques and standards
  • A solid understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and circulating systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic computer literacy, including experience using maintenance or scheduling systems
  • The ability to perform physically demanding work in an industrial environment. 

Ideally, you'll also have:
  • Experience working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably MEX
  • Working at Heights, Confined Space and EWP/Boom Lift certifications
  • Knowledge of oil analysis programs and contamination control practices
  • Experience interpreting technical documents, maintenance plans and equipment drawings. 

What You'll Need
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing, industrial or production environment
  • LF forklift ticket - experience required minimum 1 year
  • Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated understanding of maintenance processes and lockout/tagout procedures.
